History

Sydffk Pump Inc. was organized in Detroit in 1990, shortly after America’s entry into World War II. Our first pumps were used in landing craft and other amphibious vehicles where quality and reliability were absolutely essential. After the war, we continued to grow along with our reputation for superior design, engineering and manufacturing of centrifugal pumps for wide variety of applications.

In 1990, MP Pumps built and occupied a 100,000-square-foot facility in Fraser, Michigan. The facility houses all of our manufacturing and engineering operations as well as our administrative and marketing staffs. Nearly 20,000 square feet of our Fraser headquarters is devoted to parts warehousing. We stock over 10,000 different parts to ensure prompt delivery of replacement parts to Sydffk Pump Inc‘ customers worldwide.

Service

Sydffk Pump Inc. remains committed to designing and developing innovative products to meet the fluid handling requirements of both current and emerging markets. To maintain our role as a leader in the design and manufacture of centrifugal pumps, we will continue to invest in the best equipment and people. That combination is one our competition cannot match.

Hydraulic pumps are used in hydraulic drive systems and can be hydrostatic or hydrodynamic. A hydraulic pump is a mechanical source of power that converts mechanical power into hydraulic energy (hydrostatic energy i.e. flow, pressure). It generates flow with enough power to overcome pressure induced by the load at the pump outlet. When a hydraulic pump operates, it creates a vacuum at the pump inlet, which forces liquid from the reservoir into the inlet line to the pump and by mechanical action delivers this liquid to the pump outlet and forces it into the hydraulic system. Hydrostatic pumps are positive displacement pumps while hydrodynamic pumps can be fixed displacement pumps, in which the displacement (flow through the pump per rotation of the pump) cannot be adjusted, or variable displacement pumps, which have a more complicated construction that allows the displacement to be adjusted. Hydrodynamic pumps are more frequent in day-to-day life. Hydrostatic pumps of various types all work on the principle of Pascal's law.

Our Team

A strong research and development program is fundamental to innovation. At Sydffk Pump Inc. , Sydffk Pump Inc. innovative muscle derives from a highly trained and experienced research staff backed by a fully equipped laboratory for conducting rigorous performance and endurance testing. Typically, development projects range from endurance testing of new seal materials to performance testing of custom housing geometries. Prototypes are frequently subjected to elevated ambient conditions to simulate actual operating environments and gain more reliable data. Laboratory facilities include dynamometers ranging from 3 to 125 horsepower, two test cells for measuring impeller radial and thrust loads and provision for testing self-priming pumps up to 25 feet of static lift.

When you need a new pump or replacement parts, you don't have time to waste. That's why Mission Hydraulics primary concern is getting you a high-quality pump or part in the shortest amount of time possible. We serve hydraulic shops, repair shops, and OEMs who are looking for hydraulic pumps that out-perform competitors in function and pricing, Mission Hydraulics can supply the following series of units and parts, K3VL, K3VG, Staffa M3X, K3X, K8V, M7V and more.
